Ishielu Council Boss, Agwu Inspects Road Projects , Commissions Hand Pump Borehole




The Chairman of Ishielu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State Hon. Mrs. Peace Ifeoma Agwu has inspected some  ongoing road projects initiated by the Governor of Ebonyi State, Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru. 

Mrs Agwu who was accompanied by the stakeholders and enthusiastic youths expressed appreciation for the quality and speed of the projects, which are set to enhance mobility in her local Government.

During the inspection, Mrs. Agwu commissioned a hand pump borehole in Ishielu village, marking a step forward in providing essential resources to the community. 

She took the opportunity to highlight the initiation of the 3.5km Obuchiri road, designed to link Nkalagu and other areas. She emphasized that this transformative project is part of Governor Nwifuru's commitment to improving infrastructure and overall living conditions in Ishielu LGA.

"The commencement of these projects is a clear indication that Governor Nwifuru is dedicated to transforming our area," Mrs. Agwu stated. 

The Ishielu council boss commended the governor's pragmatic leadership and noted that his road projects, constructed using rigid concrete pavement, exemplify the quality of work being delivered under his administration.

 Mrs. Agwu who further acknowledged the governor's comprehensive approach to governance, which extends beyond infrastructure to include human capacity-building programs highlighted his efforts in empowering youth and creating job opportunities, fostering an environment of inclusive governance.


In his remarks, Mr. Agwu Jacob, the town Union president of Amuha village in Ezilo community commended Mrs. Agwu for her commitment to impactful projects that resonate with the community's needs. He emphasized that her administration has embarked on numerous life-changing initiatives, reflecting her dedication to the welfare of the citizens of Ishielu LGA.

As the inspections concluded, the residents expressed optimism about the continuity of quality projects in their local government, hoping for further developments that will enhance their living standards and foster communal growth.
