Youths group lauds Ishielu LG Chairman for Developmental projects

Ishielu youths have commended the
Chairman of Ishielu local government area of Ebonyi State, Hon Mrs Peace Ifeoma Agwu for her developmental strides in the area especially the 
ongoing road construction projects in some communities in the council area.

The youths who accompanied the Special Assistant to the Ishielu Council  Chairman on Youth Mobilization, Hon Stephen Chinoso Egbe, to inspect the projects yesterday expressed joy over the commencement of the construction of the 3.5km Obuchiri road, linking to Nkalagu and others ongoing in different communities in the area.

While interacting with journalists, the Council boss' aide,  Hon Stephen Chinoso Egbe, described his principal as a pragmatic leader who had performed creditably well in a few months in office.

He said that apart from the road projects which the council boss has begun constructing in rigid concrete pavement, her human capacity building programs also remained commendable.

According to him, the chairman has empowered many youths and secured jobs for the council people, ensuring all-inclusive governance in her regime.

Egbe commended the state Governor, Chief Francis Nwifuru, for his exemplary leadership style, noting that his support to the council chairman also contributed largely to her excellent performance in office.

"I think our governor is indeed a prophet to have known that such excellent leadership qualities are embedded in her. Hon Mrs Peace  Ifeoma Agwu is not just a woman but a man because she is doing creditably well in all ramifications. Our own part is to continue to support her to record more success while in office as the Executive Chairman of Ishielu local government area of Ebonyi State," the Special Assistant said.

Lending his voice, the Chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC in Ishielu local government area, Hon Iyke Abah, also commended the council chairman, described her road projects as of its kind and assured her of his unwavering support in her office.

Other speakers from various communities in the area, Peter Obumuneme Egbe (Ezillo), Izunna Okah (Agba), and Akam Anthony (Ezzagu), among others, applauded Mrs Agwu, noting that the Chairman has embarked on many life-touching projects in the area.

They noted that apart from the road projects, Mrs Agwu has empowered many youths and equally secured jobs for the council people while commending her commitment to ensuring the security of lives and properties of the citizens in the area since assumed office.

While praying for God's protection, good health and wisdom upon the chairman, the youths expressed optimism that Mrs Agwu would surpass her predecessors in terms of building legacy projects in the council area during her administration.
