Embrace mentorship, Skill Development, Ebonyi Commissioner urges Youths

Ebonyi State Commissioner for Skill Development and job creation, Hon Elijah Okwu Oko-Udu has urged youths in the State to tap into the numerous opportunities available through youth focused programmes of Governor Francis Nwifuru and invest in developing their skills.

The Commissioner who gave the charge while speaking during the NASENI - Ebonyi State Youth Empowerment Workshop at REMERITONA Hotel said the State government is committed to ending the challenges facing the youths in the state as encapsulated in the charter of Needs Agenda.

"This initiative perfectly complements these goals, aligning with our broader vision of creating opportunities for every Ebonyi youth".

"Today, we are not just equipping 100 young men and women with tools and technical know-how; we are igniting their dreams and fortifying their futures. The startup equipment each participant will receive is not just a gesture of support—it is a statement of trust, an investment in your ability to succeed and contribute meaningfully to society".

The Commissioner who emphasized the importance of skill development urged youths to embrace  new knowledge in all its forms and seek mentorship from those who had walked the path before them.
