Ebonyi: DC Coordinator appoints 18 aides, demands dedication to duty

The coordinator of Edda West Development Center, Hon Jecklin Onwubiko Ukpai has approved the appointment of 18 aides, saying they would assist him to step down the state government policies and programmes in the area. 

Ukpai while inaugurating the new aides comprising his special advisers and assistant at the DC headquarters, Igbara Edda commended the state governor Chief Francis Nwifuru for his commitment to eradicating poverty in the state.
He charged the new appointees to discharge their duties diligently to move the DC to the next level 

The coordinator said the appointees were selected from different villages in the Development Center, noting that this is in line with the noble project of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru through his People's Charter of Needs mantra.

The Coordinator explained that his appointees would be receiving salary every month, saying the gesture was facilitated through Governor Nwifuru's benevolence.

He charged the new appointees to discharge their duties diligently in other to move the DC to the next level.

"Let me charge you to be good ambassadors of the Development Centre as well avoid anything that will tarnish the image of the centre, Edda and Ebonyi state in general"

"You have to optimally discharge your duties with dedication and commitment."

The coordinator's appointees would serve under him as Special Assistants on political matters, education, health sector, agriculture, women mobilization, youth mobilization and security, among other areas.
