The members of the Ebonyi State Pioneers Councillors Forum (1999–2002) have commended Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru on the appointment of Hon. Maxwell Nwali Nkem as the Executive Secretary of the Ebonyi State Agricultural Land Development Authority,(EBALDAB) describing it as well deserved.
In a statement issued in Abakaliki, endorsed by Hon. Ali Daniel Ogbuzuru, the secretary; Hon. David Uka Eze, director of media and publicity; and others, the group thanked the governor for finding Hon. Maxwell Nwali, chairman of the Ebonyi Pioneers Councillors Forum, worthy of the appointment, describing him as a square peg in a square.
They expressed confidence in the qualities of Hon. Nwali, saying, “He has a well-grounded personality and is adequately prepared for the job of repositioning the agricultural sector and boosting food sufficiency in the state.
