Ebonyi commissioner lauds Gov Nwifuru's empowerment scheme

The Ebonyi State Commissioner for Skill Development and Job Creation, Mr Okwu Oko -Udu has commended Governor Francis Nwifuru for prioritizing  youth empowerment and job creations.


The commissioner who stated this in a chat with newsmen in Abakaliki said the governor has through its youth oriented programme empowered many youths and created many job opportunities in the state.
 

He disclosed that one of the Beneficiaries of Governor Francis Nwifuru's  two million Naira Empowerment program, Mr Nwogwu Chukwuma, who is a welder  from umuezekoha in Ezza North Local Government Area of the State has urged the State Government to give him 5 persons to train and empower Free of charge.

The Commissioner said the efforts of the Governor to create Jobs to all Ebonyi people especially those who are hawking in different cities in Nigeria is beginning to yield fruits.

Okwu said "to that effect, Mr Nwogwu has officially written to his ministry so that he can commence the training immediately".

He thanked the Governor for his Leadership mantra which focused on people's Charter of needs.
