Ebonyi State Commissioner for Works and Transport, Engr Stanley Mbam has congratulated the wife of the State governor, Chief Mrs Mary-Maudline Nwifuru on the flag off of her pet project tagged 'Better Health for Rural Women, Children and Internally Displaced Foundation, BERWO.
Mbam in a press statement in Abakaliki, the state capital, lauded Mrs Nwifuru for coming out with a programme geared towards enhancing the Charter of Needs Agenda of Nwifuru's administration.
He described Mrs. Nwifuru as a beacon of hope and a pillar behind the success story of her husband, R.t Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru the State Governor.
The Commissioner noted that her Excellency's pet project will go along way to alleviate the living standard of the indigents and destitute and rekindle hope for the less privileged and the disabled.
