The People’s Democratic Party has resolved to work together to reposition the party.
Rising from a strategic planning meeting in Abuja on Saturday at the instance of the party’s Presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, the party said even in the darkest hours, they must keep the flame of hope burning.
The Chairman of the PDP Governors forum, Senator Bala Mohammed noted that the party must act with the same seriousness of purpose going forward.
The Abuja strategy meeting was called to unite the party after its outing during the 2023 elections.
Governor Bala commended all organs of the party that have been represented, stating that it was to encourage Atiku Abubakar for his being dogged, courageous and mature. It was also to assure him that the party is in solidarity with him.
Bala further said above all, the meeting had talks about the challenges and way to go as well as unity of the PDP.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri alongside the Governors of Bauchi, Plateau, Delta, Zamfara, Osun and Edo, attended the meeting.
Several former Governors and Members of the National Assembly including Sen. Aminu Tambuwal also attended.
