A member of Ebonyi State House of Assembly representing Onicha East state constituency, Hon Ogba Celetine Ifeanyi has pledged to provide quality and all-inclusive representation to his constituents.
Ogba, who is a Labour Party lawmaker gave the assurance in an interview with journalists in Abakaliki shortly after his inauguration as a member of Ebonyi State House of Assembly.
He promised to build bridges of unity and execute People oriented projects and programmes that will impact positively to lives of his constituents
The lawmaker while acknowledging the overwhelming support he received from his people during the elections, assured the leaders and people of his constituency of his avowed determination to facilitate development in the area
He said he will cooperate with other House of Assembly colleagues from other political parties to form a core good governance, adding that he would not combine issues where he will see other house member as opposition Party, noting that opposition was done during electionering period but now, they are one state house of assembly.
" My people is here to celebrate with me because I believe they know my pain and there believe I have the capacity to pilot leadership affairs of the Onich East constituency .
" I have no intention of running for the state house assembly but when duty calls that I should raise up and speak for my people on their behalf and there found me worthy of representatives that is why they massively stand for me against all odds and voted for me not just that there voted for me but defended their votes because is their mandate not mine .
" We're not at the House of Assembly to oppose ourselves although we can vary in opinions and ideas but at the end of the day we come at the concensus agreement " he said
