May Day: Sen. Ama Nnachi felicitates with Nigerian workers

The Senator representing Ebonyi South Senatorial District and Chairman, Senate Committee on Diaspora and NGOs, Distinguished Senator Michael Ama Nnachi, Ph.D, has felicitated with  Nigerian workers, especially Ebonyi South workers as they mark this year's Workers Day with the theme: "Workers Rights and Socio-Economic Justice".

Sen. Nnachi  in a statement to his constituents, which was released by his Media office in Abakaliki, commended the Nigerian workers for the immense contribution to national growth.


Senator Nnachi who is also the Vice Chairman, Senate Committees on Air Force and Vice Chairman Senate Committee on Poverty Alleviation and Social Investment, acknowledged the selfless service, patriotism and resilience of Nigerian workers.

He urged them to continue to remain steadfast to the course of nation- building, in spite of the
dauting challenges and harsh economic conditions foisted on them.

"As we celebrate,  I congratulate Nigerian workers, they deserve commendation for the sacrifices to nation building”


 "We are celebrating their sacrifices in the face of overwhelming odds ... and their determination to make Ebonyi and Nigeria better."

"we must continue to acknowledge and celebrate their selfless service and their overall contributions to the development of Ebonyi State and Nigeria at large".

"On behalf of my family and the entire good people of Ebonyi South Senatorial district, I heartily rejoice with Nigerian workers particularly Ebonyi South Workers on this auspicious occasion of the celebration of workers Day. Happy workers Day," Sen. Nnachi stated.
