Ebonyi guber: Odii's wife optimistic of husband victory

The wife of the governoship candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Ebonyi state, Mrs Deborah Odii 
has expressed confidence that PDP will win the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the state


Mrs Odii who was speaking at the PDP campaign rally in the Ikwo Local Government Area of the state, described
her husband as anti-poverty saying
his victory in the 2023 gubernatorial election would bring fortune to Ebonyi citizens.
The wife of the gubernatorial candidate who said she was overwhelmed by the mass turn out of people expecially the women and youths and called on them to vote massively for PDP in the forthcoming elections

She said her husband would replicate his successes in business and bring positive change to the state by empowering the youths with job opportunities.
She assured the women that the administration if elected, would accommodate women in the cabinet as well as ensure gender balance in the administration.


"Dr Odii will raise billionaires and wealth creators in Ebonyi State. Our government will not give weapons or stipends for the killings of innocent people.

"Our government will be gender sensitive, by empowering both men and women in this state. On this note, we should come out in mass and vote for my husband and all PDP candidates on the election days."

In his speech, the  governoship Candidate of the People's Democratic party PDP in Ebonyi State,  Dr Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii, said that his victory on the 11th March governorship election would end communal clashes in any part of the state.

He also promised to outnumber his counterparts who might emerge victorious in the forthcoming gubernatorial polls in terms of youth empowerment in the country.
He observed that "Ebonyi state was known for peaceful co-existence, but now, the community is fighting against the community, clans raising arms against one another and even Kindred working against another kindred. 

He said, "that my government is going to empower the highest number of youths in the country."

Odii however, urged the Ikwo council people to get their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to vote for him and all the PDP candidates on the election days. 
He reiterated his eagerness to liberate the state from poverty, saying with the anticipated massive support and votes of Ebonyi people for the PDP candidates at the polls, they would unlock their destinies this year.


The Director General of the State PDP Campaign Council, Chief Augustine Edeze who reminded  Ikwo people of the donation of 10 million Naira by Dr Odii to build their civic centre in 2012, urged them to replicate the gesture with their PVCs at their various polling units on the election day.
