Ebonyi PDP guber candidate urges people to obtain PVCs

The gubernatorial candidate of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ebonyi State Dr IfeanyiChukwuma Odii, has called on the people expecially PDP members and supporters to use the opportunity of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to acquire their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) to vote for credible candidates in 2023.

 
Odii who made call during the inauguration of his campaign office in Abakaliki described permenent voters card as power and right to vote for the right candidate come 2023 general elections.
 
The governorship candidate encouraged those without PVC to go to the nearest Independent National Electoral Commission’s office and register to participate in the 2023 general election.

Chief Odii said that the election would be a win-win issue for PDP and urged members to be united.
 
He assured  that his administration would be people's oriented governance and pledged to ensure that the state witness positive change if elected into power.


“I thank the three-man delegates for choosing me duriing the primaries. I urge all aggrieved members our party to embrace peace in order to win at all levels in the general elections.
 
“Politcs of not united will only slow us down over the strategies to win during the election, but we shall overcome them. Let us come together in soladality with a common purpose.
 
“The goal is to create wealth for the people, which I have been doing. We can transform Ebonyi together and we can do it come 2023.
 
“I am committed to diversify the state economy and upscale the human empowerment indices for the people if elected as governor.
 
“To the electorates, go and get your PVC and on the day of elelction, you go out and cast your vote and I believe your vote will surely count.
 
Also speaking the deputy governorship candidate of PDP Sen Igwe Nwagu who emphasized the need for PVC, urged the people to ensure that they are registered in order to vote.
 

"I know that many of you are afraid that your votes will not count, let me assure you that our vote must surely count. The era of rigging is over when comparing what happened in Ekiti state election. We will win and we are not going to be intimidated by any group or party. nobody will rig us out as long as this state is concern, 

“My joint ticket with the Odii is well planned and we shall strengthen true governance to Ebonyi people come 2023,” He said.
