2023: I will tackle Nigeria's security challenges if elected.... Bala Mohammed

Governor of Bauchi State and Frontline Presidential aspirant under the platform of People's Democratic Party, PDP, Sen
Mohammed Bala has promised to tackle security challenges facing Nigeria
if he emerged as the next President.

Gov. Bala stated this while addressing journalists after meeting with PDP stakeholders and delegates  in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State Capital.

Gov. Bala who decried the high level of security challenges in the Country said he would create regional and state security outfits as well as local vigilantes to complement the efforts of the Nigerian Police Force and other security agencies to tackle the challenges.


The Presidential hopeful who frowned at the poor state of the Nation's educational, health and agricultural sectors vowed to revitalize all the sectors within a short period in office, adding that the National challenges in governance would be a thing of the past if he emerges as the President come 2023.

He called on all the PDP faithful to throw their weights behind his Presidential ambition to take over the mantle of leadership from the ruling All Progressive Congress to change the narrative of the Country.

He described the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC’s administration led by President Muhammadu Buhari as an aberration.

He further alleged that the federal government led by Buhari is a regime of nepotism, discrimination, bad governance and corruption at its highest level.


The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ebonyi State, Mr Silas Onu, represented by the Zonal Chairman of the Party in Ebonyi South Zone, Mr Ude Akaji, noted that  Gov. Bala is a detribalized Nigerian whom his leadership prowess as Governor of Bauchi State and as a Senator speaks volume, adding the party in the State Would give him all the necessary support to enable him to succeed.
