The Chairman and MD of Gosima Group, Dr Gideon Chidiebere Osi, has lost her mother, Ezinne Oyiridie Rebecca Osi, who died at the age of 85.
An official statement from Dr GOC's Facebook page handle indicated that Mama died in the early hours of Tuesday 22nd February, 2022.
The statement titled, "MY SPECIAL PEARL GONE ON A SPECIAL DAY", reads: "with courage I write this note on the peaceful transition of an Angel on earth back to Heaven where she truly belongs. A distinct woman, prayerful, Hardworking, passionate, generous to a fault, a singer and great dancer of her time. She was not just my mother but my friend, role model and guardian angel. She was such a special being with the angelic voice that even her Chi (creator) chose a special day to recall her to base( 22.2.22), a date that comes once in a century.
I surely miss her"

Meanwhile, High Chief Ifeanyi Clement Okorie (Oloye), Hon. Nkemkanma Kama (Ijele), Engnr Chuks Chukwudi (oil & Gas) and other prominent Nigerians and business Associates of Dr Gideon Chidebere Osi (GOC) have condoled with him, over the loss of his mother.
In his condolence message, Mr Wisdom Ofoha, said: "while we cannot question God for his decision to call back one of His own, we are grateful for a life well lived by Mama. We also rejoice that heaven has gained an Angel. Mama, thank you for bequeathing to us, a rare gem in the person of Dr. GOC (Ikenga)",
On his part, Mr Chinedu Emmanuel, said: "the fact that mama lived a selfless life during her days on earth is evident in the kind of upbringing she bequeathed to her Children. Rest on mother Theresa of our time".
While Oguzor Offia Nwali, said "I know it's a difficult moment but please your consolations should be that she brought into the world one of the most generous progressive minded man I've ever seen in you. God knows the best, and may her soul rest in perfect peace Amen."
