NGO embarks on campaign for Continous Voters Registration, distributes vehicles

An International Non Governmental Organization NGO known as Ebele&Anyichuks  Foundation has organised a solidarity really of over 20,000 persons  in support of Independent Electoral Commission's sensitisation campaign for Continuous Voters Registration CVR in Ebonyi State Southeast Nigeria.

The President and Co-founder of Ebele& Anyichuks Foundation , Dr Ifeanyichukwuma Odii made this Known to Journalists while addressing the rally at his Country home Isu in Onicha Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.

Dr Ifeanyichukwuma Ebonyi people should come out en mass to register in order to measure up with some States like
"Osun state that has registered  379,914;  Edo State of 209,094 and Bayelsa State of 198,148. While in the complete registration category, Ebonyi State is 2nd in the Southeast with a record of 6,858 newly registered voters, after Anambra State that has 39,428 whereas Kano State has 29,748 and Bauchi State of 27, 781".

He said " the rally is not a political campaign, neither is it a partisan affiliation to any political party but completely a social responsibility of the Ebele and Anyichuks Foundation to collaborate the constitutional roles of the Government at all levels in ensuring a better and  inclusive society for all and sundry".

The President and founder of Egobekee Foundation for better living, Chief Mrs Rosemary Nwakaego Emmanuel  said the campaign is necessary as Ebonyi State is lacking behind in terms of  statistics of the INEC register.

Egobekee advised the over 20,000 persons who are in the rally to deem it a point of duty and responsibility to go and register and as well collect their Permanent Voters Cards PVCs when it's ready.

The State Coordinator of Ebele and Anyichuks Foundation, Comrade Christian Onu said the the foundation has touched many lives across Nigeria.

"when COVID 19 struck Nigeria, Ebele and Anyichuks Foundation distributed palliatives to virtually all the States of the Country". Onu added.

The Secretary of the Foundation,  Chief Okorie Isu Okorie thanked their supporters who turned out en mass for the rally.

Okorie urged the Ebele and Anyichuks Fans who organised the campaign to continue in their good works. 

The campaign witnessed the distribution of 8 Siena buses to the elders council of the foundation.

A member, Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Chief Victor Aleke who benefited from the Sienna bus pledged his Continuous support for the foundation.
