I've attracted over N3.5b Constituency projects, Ebonyi fed Lawmaker declares, commissions projects

The Member representing Ezza South/Ikwo Federal Constituency, Hon. Chinedu Ogah, said he had attracted over N3.5 million worth of constituency projects.

Ogah, who stated this during the inspection and commissioning of some of his constituency projects in Ezza South Local Government Area, said he had about 59 projects, either ongoing or completed, across the 31 wards of his constituency.

The inspection and commissioning of the projects were part of the activities to mark his eighteen months in office as well as his upcoming birthday celebration.

Some of the projects, according to the Lawmaker, include: construction of a bridge at Nzashi Echara Ikwo Ndiagu Echara 1; rural electrification at Obegu Echara Ikwo Ndiagu Echara1; construction of a modern hospital Idembia Enyibichiri Alike Ikwo Enyibichiri.

Others are: Provision/installation of 300kva transformer at Sacred Heart Parish Alike Ikwo Noyo & Enyibichiri; hand pump borehole at Omege Noyo; construction of 2 span bridge at Ndiova Echialike Ikwo Echialike & Noyo; provision/ supply of drugs to hospital Nwoyelishi Echialike; and the construction of bridge at Onyikwa Alike, Ndufu Alike.

Ogah also hinted that in partnership with Amanda Marga Universal Relief Team (AMURT), a rural nongovernment organization hospital in Ebonyi, awarded the contract for the construction of boreholes in each of the eleven wards in Ezza South, adding that seven of the boreholes had been completed.

The Federal Lawmaker, disclosed that about 570 graduates had been employed in the federal parastatals courtesy of his office, even as he assured that he would continue to attract development as well as empowerment packages to his constituency.

Hon Ogah who reassured of a more robust representation that would bring dividends of democracy for the people in the constituency, said he was prepared to work closely with the stakeholders.
