The Coal City University Enugu will on Friday 30 April, 2021 commence an Entrepreneurship Seminar series geared towards stirring latent entrepreneurial spirit among students and other willing individuals.
The Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Afam Ituma who disclosed this in a statement made available to Newsmen explained that the series "is designed by the University to help aspiring entrepreneurs visualize the possibilities, identify resources to support their vision, and understand the logistics of starting and managing a successful business".
He said: "The series makes becoming an entrepreneur accessible by introducing low and no-cost ideas, encouraging self assessment to understand one's capabilities, identifying business support services, and providing structure for assessing and launching business ideas".
"The presentations in this session will provide insights into liquidity measures using a tried and tested scale, as well as provide a three-part process for preparing a financial plan using a simple-to-follow example of cash flows estimation to forecast performance over a five-year horizon.
"This will better position businesses to access funding/finance to startup or scale up their operations".
