Afikpo South PDP Reaffirms Support For Udeogu's Leadership

The forum of PDP ward chairmen and executives of the eleven wards of Afikpo South LGAs in Ebonyi State have reaffirmed their support for the Chief Fred Udeogu's led State Caretaker Committee of the Party.

The Forum, in a statement released and made available to Newsmen in Abakaliki which was endorsed by the eleven ward chairmen, reiterated their resolve to remain committed and reliable members of the peoples democratic party PDP in their various wards.

The group said sequel to the trends of events in the state it had become necessary to let the public know as regards their stands with the Leadership of the party in the state.

The statement reads in part:"We the members of the forum of PDP ward chairmen and executives of the eleven wards of Afikpo South LGAs having keenly followed the trends of political events in Ebonyi in general and Afikpo South LGAs in particular in relation to our party resolve as:

"We hereby reiterate our collective resolve to remain bonafide, strong, committed and reliable members of the people's democratic party PDP in our various wards.

"We hereby pledge unalloyed loyalty and support to the chief Fred Udeogu's led caretaker committee of the party,PDP, in Ebonyi state and at all levels of the party.

"We unequivocally disassociate ourselves and our various wards from the antics and infantile activities of the former PDP chairman Afikpo South local government area, Mr Dickson Udu and his cohorts who were removed from office for anti party activities,

"We make ourselves available to continue serving our great party, The PDP in any capacity that maybe required of us", they stated.

The eleven wards Chairmen that signed the release include: Hon. Michael Mba Ibiam, Owutu Ward; Sir Vincent Onumbibi KSJI, Amangwu Ward, Hon. Monday Agwu Williams, Ndioke ward; Hon. Duncan Okoro, Ogbu ward; Hon. Azu Nnachi Udu, Ebunwana ward; Eld. David Akwu, Amoso ward, others are Hon. Ndubuisi Sunday Orji, Nguzu ward, Hon. Innocent Nkama Obasi, Oso Ward, Hon Ota Kama Okporie, Ameke Ward and Hon. Thomas Orji Anya, Amaigbo Ward.
