The Chairman of Ohaozara Local Government Area, Mrs Nkechinyere Iyioku has urged women of the area to identify and register with All Progressive Congress, APC.
Mrs Iyioku who stated this at Obiozara during a Solidarity summit organized in support of Governor David Umahi's found political party charged them to cue behind their son.
She noted that the best way for them to give him their support was by identifying with his party APC, especially as the registration of new members would commence by January 2021.
She said, " my desire to interface with you people was born out of a passion for mutual cooperation with the precious women of my council area, my government in the area have been tremendously watered by you my women folk.
"I want to plead with you to heed to the voice of our four_sighted son of whose political outing for almost two decades had never recorded a failure.
"As faithful mothers are known for decisiveness in time like this, I want you all to register for your membership in All Progressive Congress(APC) as registration would commenc by January, 2021.
"Remember that the character of a good follower is a plus to the success of the leader. And so, all Ohaozara women should prove a point now" she said.
In their goodwill messages, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Vocational Education, Dr Adaeze Nwaji; the member, Ebonyi State Physical Responsibility Commission, Dr Tina Nweze; Member, State Judicial Service Commission, Mrs Rose Ajanwachuku, amongst others, unanimously allied themselves to the vogues of the Executive Chairman of the Council, as they resolved that Ohaozara women were all for APC and APC for Ohaozara women.
They proclaimed that where Governor Umahi stands, they would stand, where he goes, they would go as according to them his party shall be their party.
The women eulogized Umahi for toeing a right path of leadership and making them people proud in all ramifications. They equivocally agreed that starting from January 2021, all Ohaozara women must register with APC for positive drive to the next better level in Ohaozara, Ebonyi State and Nigeria at large.
