He maintained that, the only way to reduce electoral violence  in the country is through electronic voting.

He noted that if the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) could conduct it’s election using the electronic system of voting, “INEC could still achieve it and save Nigerians from the killings and other election violence being witnessed during elections”.

He  assured that soonest, PDP would commence its electronic registration of its members; adding that PDP would support every move towards electronic voting to end electoral violence.

In his remarks, Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi said the adoption of E-voting system by Nigerians will automatically bring to an end the killings, desperation, political violence and rigging found in Nigeria politics.

He then urged the National Working Committee NWC of PDP to adopt the E-voting system during its future primaries. According to him, the governor’s will support the party to actualise the practice.

Umahi urged the National Working Committee NWC of the PDP to take the lead by adopting the E-voting system during its primaries.

Umahi who assured that he would not impose nor anoint any candidate in the 2023 general elections, added that he would allow the will of God to prevail on who succeeds him in 2023.
